1. Assisting in the production of site appraisals.
2. Developing road and sewer designs with the approving bodies in order to solve all associated engineering issues.
3. Preparing/Co-ordinating detailed Section 38 and Section designs.
4. Preparing/Co-ordinating external levels drawings.
5. Preparing/Co-ordinating private drainage drawings.
6. Briefing and managing the Foundation Design Consultant.
7. Assembling and delivering the civil engineering package.
8. Obtaining Section 38 and Section approvals.
9. Obtaining foundation design approvals.
10. Completing Section 38 and Section agreements.
11. Discharging engineering related and building related issues.
12. Assisting in the discharge of engineering related planning conditions.
13. Arranging for Section 38 and Section maintenance inspections and bond releases.
14. Assisting with the organisation of Utility designs and Diversions
15. Preparing / leading design team progress meetings onsite
16. Preparing/Co-ordinating Site works
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
17. Experience of working for a house builder or consultancy.
18. Production of engineering designs utilising standard software.
19. HNC in Civil Engineering Studies or similar.
20. Extensive knowledge of Section 38, and agreements.
21. Knowledge and application of:Highway Design Standards.Sewers for adoption.Building Regs Part H & BS.PDS design software.Microdrainage design software.AutoCAD.
22. Ability to work in a multi-functional Team.
