You will provide support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively programmed & delivered in an efficient and productive way. You will play a key role within the Planning team by analysing work, collating data, developing planned packages of work to be allocated to Site Teams for completion. The role requires high levels of IT skills as there will be the need to create and distribute management spreadsheets, reports, and plans. Reporting to the Planning Manager you will be able to confidently manage a busy workload on your own initiative and will adopt a flexible approach to your working day. As a Work Planner you will… Logistic planning of resources in line with relevant SLA’s, working closely with the operations supervisors/managers to resolve any issues inhibiting the planning of work Using information available to produce efficient job packs of work including site plans & site-based knowledge within the business Receive and record reactive and maintenance data onto work management systems/portals. Query resolution for supplier/contractors/client issues. Via telephone and email requests Point of escalation for site based teams, supporting to resolve issues concerning work planning. Operate in line with Company policies and strategies Maintain own levels of skill and knowledge to do the job effectively and achieve personal targets. Comply with the relevant Company Health and Safety Policy provisions Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems. About you… Experience in Utilities Industry Experience in planning management IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office package Proven experience of working in customer service or a customer focused environment. Professional, customer focused with a good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning. Experience in analysing and interpreting data.
