Overview
The Senior Event Manager (SEM) is a team-oriented professional responsible for managing all aspects of touring events at the facility, from planning to execution. The SEM also handles booking or arranging revenue-generating events and leads the Event Department, overseeing staff and coordinating with public safety officials to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experience.
This role offers an annual salary of $50,000-$60,000.

Responsibilities
* Oversee all front of house, back of house, and security matters for events.
* Create event layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
* Address personnel issues and recommend actions.
* Improve operations, streamline processes, and enhance customer service.
* Develop policies, procedures, and management reports/manuals.
* Lead interdepartmental projects and represent leadership at meetings.
* Establish relationships with staff, stakeholders, and users.
* Manage and evaluate staff performance, provide leadership, and communicate effectively.
* Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Coordinate event preparations, financial estimates, and post-event settlements.
* Advise lessees on contractor services and manage staffing and payroll.
* Coordinate communication during load-in/load-out and maintain relationships with all parties.
* Handle complaints professionally, ensure customer satisfaction, and train staff on customer service.
* Arrange hospitality services, liaise with municipal officials, and review emergency procedures.
* Create detailed event data sheets, ensure proper payments, and coordinate with food and beverage services.
* Serve as Manager on Duty as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in event management within stadiums, arenas, or similar venues.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in facility management, hospitality, business, marketing, or related field; experience may substitute education.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/Vector Works or similar, and internet applications.
* Current CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
* Knowledge of public assembly management, event operations, crowd control, customer service, supervision, contracts, safety regulations, A/V systems, budget management, and relevant regulations.
