Orthodontist Opportunity – Surbiton Smile Centre
Since 2005, Surbiton Smile Centre has been providing outstanding orthodontic care. Our valued colleague, who has been with us since 2013, is moving on to a full-time role elsewhere. This creates an exciting opportunity to join a modern, patient-focused private practice as an associate orthodontist.
We are seeking an experienced orthodontist with their own patient base, who can also care for our existing patients. This role offers flexibility, including one session per month initially, with the potential to expand as the practice grows. We are also moving to new premises with even more modern treatment rooms.
About the Role
* Start with 1 day per month (flexible)
* Freedom to manage your own patient base while treating our existing patients
* Opportunity to take on patients from a departing colleague
* Modern facilities including digital radiology and an intraoral scanner
What We're Looking
* Minimum 7 years' experience across all orthodontic treatments
* Ethical, patient-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality care
* Skilled in fixed, functional, removable appliances, and aligners
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to handle multidisciplinary cases alongside the practice owner
Key Qualities/roll
We only offer the highest standard of treatment, so the orthodontist must:
* Work independently to plan, execute, and complete all types of orthodontic treatments. Must take full responsibility for record-keeping.
* Build and maintain a strong, collaborative partnership with the dental nurse.
* Provide high-quality care with professionalism, compassion, and respect.
* Emphasize patient care over sales or promotion.
* Utilize CBCT imaging only when clinically indicated.
* Follow an ethical and moral approach, as this is at the core of our philosophy.
* The principal dentist will be present, as she refers most patients and ensures they receive the best treatment and care.
Why Join Us
Surbiton Smile Centre is a supportive, professional team that values quality, loyalty, and long-term patient care. This role offers clinical freedom, administrative support, and the chance to grow your patient base within a thriving practice.
