About the Role
We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our clients team in North Wales. In this role, you will ensure all operations and installations meet industry regulations, internal policies, and quality standards. You'll monitor and improve compliance processes, review documentation, support audits, and ensure that all customer installations meet regulatory and scheme requirements.
This is a key position where you will help maintain our reputation for integrity, accuracy, and professionalism while supporting the delivery of eco-friendly home improvement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
 * Monitor compliance across all departments and ensure full adherence to company procedures and government scheme requirements
 * Review installation documentation, contracts, and customer files for accuracy and completeness
 * Conduct internal audits and prepare compliance reports for management
 * Identify process gaps or risks and recommend corrective actions
 * Support onboarding of new contractors and suppliers, ensuring all documentation is up to date
 * Keep up to date with relevant regulations including MCS, TrustMark, and ECO scheme rules
 * Provide compliance guidance and training to team members
 * Liaise with auditors, regulators, and funding partners as required
Key Skills & Competencies
 * Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
 * Knowledge of compliance or auditing procedures in energy, construction, or sustainability sectors
 * Confident in interpreting and applying regulations and quality standards
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to work independently while supporting wider team goals
Qualifications & Experience
 * Minimum 2 years' experience in a compliance, quality assurance, or auditing role (energy, renewables, or construction preferred)
 * Relevant qualification in Compliance, Quality Management, Business Administration, or similar is desirable
 * Knowledge of ECO schemes or similar government programmes is advantageous
