Job overview
We are seeking a proactive and well-organised administrator to support the efficient delivery of outpatient services. The post-holder will manage referrals, appointments and waiting lists, ensure compliance with Trust and national access targets, and provide vital administrative support to Consultants and clinical teams. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
Main duties of the job
By joining our team you will contribute to the provision of an effective administration service, your main role being to provide comprehensive organisational and secretarial support to the consultants and team as well as communicating with external healthcare services. This will include typing of clinical and general correspondence and dealing with telephone enquiries. Updating systems, booking appointments, monitoring waiting lists and utilisation of clinics.

2. Audio typing at RSA III, equivalent or experience
