Temporary School Chef Required – Downpatrick
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Chef to join a busy school kitchen in Downpatrick.
📅 Start Date: 5th May
📆 Duration: Ongoing until the summer holidays
💷 Pay Rate: £20 per hour (paid weekly)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for students and staff
2. Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
3. Assisting with menu planning where required
4. Working efficiently as part of a small kitchen team
Requirements:
5. Previous chef experience (school or contract catering preferred)
6. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
8. Enhanced AccessNI certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
