Overview
Oxfam GB is looking for a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Lead to take the reins of our Information Security governance efforts. In this critical role, you\'ll lead and evolve our GRC functions—ensuring we meet internal, regulatory, and donor-driven security obligations. You will be a strategic influencer, embedding a culture of security awareness, accountability, and resilience across all teams and partners. Responsibilities
* Lead and evolve Oxfam\'s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) functions to meet internal, regulatory, and donor-driven security obligations.
* Embed a culture of security awareness, accountability, and resilience across all teams and partners.
Qualifications
* Strong Influencing skills
* Highly self-motivated with a bias for action in ambiguous environments.
* Able to work independently while also fostering shared accountability and operating to tight timescales in pressured environments
* Strong ethical compass and commitment to integrity in oversight roles.
* Proven experience in a senior GRC or information security leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials, CIS Controls, ISO27001).
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage upwards.
* Demonstrable Audit and policy management experience, including stakeholder engagement.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially under pressure.
* Strong understanding of vendor risk and third-party assurance models.
