Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the strategic development of the school's SEND provision
* Coordinating support for pupils with special educational needs or disabilities
* Managing and reviewing EHCPs
* Liaising with external agencies and working closely with staff and families
* Supporting teachers in adapting planning and teaching to meet individual needs
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* NASENCO qualification (or currently undertaking) is highly desirable
* Experience working as a SENDCO or in a similar SEN leadership role
* Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
* A clear understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current best practices
