Annual Salary: £25,185-£25,989 (pro rata salary: £21,722)
Working Hours: 30 hours a week, Term Time Only
Fixed term until 31st August 2026

What are we looking for
St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant, to support children with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be based at Woodfield Primary School.
We are looking for a child-centred practitioner with:
Responsibilities
* Experience of working with children who have a wide variety of educational needs.
* Experience of working with children who exhibit challenging and complex behaviours, and an understanding of child development and learning.
* Experience of working with children with communication, severe, profound or complex learning difficulties is highly desirable.
* Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
* Ability to support children with specific educational needs.
* Experience of supporting children in literacy and numeracy.
* Experience of how to motivate children.
* Proven successful experience of supporting the raising of standards in school.
* Wide experience of working with children, including those with special needs and the most able children.
* Proven experience of a range of positive behaviour management strategies.
* The ability to support, lead and inspire children.
* High expectations of children and a commitment to raising standards.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
