Our client, with a large estate based in Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds, is looking to expand their housekeeping team. They require a team of 4 experienced local Housekeepers, who are particularly skilled in laundry. This position will ideally be an ASAP start until the end of March 2025.
Most of the time it will just be the two principals in residence. However, on the weekend they tend to entertain, and up to 12 guests will stay on the estate. It is important that the candidates remain adaptable.
Duties to include:
1. All housekeeping duties to a high standard
2. General cleaning, including vacuuming, dusting, and deep cleaning as needed
3. Changing of bed linen daily
4. Laundry and ironing
Candidate Requirements:
5. At least 3 years of experience in a role of a similar nature
6. Within a 30–45 minute commute from the property
7. A driver with their own car, due to the rural nature of the estate
8. Confident in laundry and ironing, with knowledge of high-end fabrics
9. Able to work at a fast pace, prioritising tasks accordingly
10. Able to work well within a team
11. Meticulous attention to detail

Working Hours : 8 hours per day, on a rota system – either 8.00am–4.00pm or 1.00pm–9.00pm
Working Days : 5 days a week, which may include weekends
Salary : £20.00 gross per hour
