The Technical Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for the direction and effective reactive maintenance and planning of Critical Environment and Risk Management. The role contributes towards delivering industry standards, with primary objectives focusing on service delivery, quality, and performance, supporting both Integral, JLL, and the client's vision for engineering excellence. This is a key role requiring excellent teamwork, relationship management, and technical skills. Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the company meets its contractual obligations.
* Possessing supervisory experience.
* Managing change control.
* Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance in critical areas.
* Monitoring energy performance in critical areas.
* Providing engineering skills and training across the entire site.
* Managing critical HVAC plant operations.
* Ensuring timely completion and close-out of reactive and periodic work orders, meeting KPIs and SLAs.
* Supervising, coordinating, and managing suppliers.
* Serving as E-Permit Manager and Administrator.
* Ensuring site personnel have technical competence for all building systems.
* Operating all building systems effectively and efficiently.
* Managing Specialist Service Providers to comply with SLAs.
* Updating trackers to reflect current site rules and procedures.
* Prioritizing outstanding documents and setting SMART objectives.
* Hyperlinking indexed documents from root locations where possible.
* Designing realistic implementation plans, assigning owners and timescales.
* Monitoring progress closely to ensure plan adherence.
* Conducting weekly engineers meetings.
* Submitting weekend works applications to clients on Wednesdays.
* Assisting the Contract Manager with OT approvals.
* Reviewing reactive jobs to ensure no outstanding tasks.
* Issuing and reviewing Monthly PPMs via Corrigo and during shift handovers.
* Issuing individual Floor FCU PPMs for audits, recorded in the PPM log book.
* Carrying out 10% PPM audits monthly during off-hours.
* Reviewing weekend works on Fridays and Mondays, closing out all CMs.
* Ensuring weekly engineering actions are completed.
* Communicating requirements effectively within the team.
* Managing on-call alarm response rota as required.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Mechanical qualification (C&G or NVQ).
* Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
* Experience managing an engineering team.
* IOSH and health & safety awareness.
* Proactive approach to tasks.
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
* Proficient in Windows Office applications.
* Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
* Self-motivated, calm, and able to work under pressure.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working in busy commercial contracts, achieving KPIs and SLAs.
