You will be supporting the whole class as well as taking small groups of children or 1:1. The requirement to work with initiative, pro-actively and as part of a wider team are key skills we will be looking for in those applying for these positions. For this role, you will need to: have previous experience of working with primary aged children within a school setting, preferably KS1 and/or KS2 depending on the position have confidence in dealing with pupils with different abilities possess good interpersonal and communication skills be good at working as part of a wider team have up to date knowledge of basic assessment techniques, be able to work on your own with groups of children, directing and adapting lessons according to need and ongoing outcomes. be adaptable, flexible and resilient to the day-to-day rigours of school life.
