Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi-billion-pound global manufacturer. They are looking for a brand new Engineering Storeperson to manage all inventory control.
As the Engineering Storesperson your key role & responsibilities will be:
4. Part of the engineering team, managing all aspects of the engineering stores & administration
5. Plan, receive, inspect & locate parts on the CMMS
6. Support the development of the planned maintenance schedule
7. Liaise with planning to make sure engineering parts / assets are available for PPM’s
8. Manage the stores area, regularly audit and implement new procedures
9. Evaluate supplier performance
10. Maintain full inventory control for engineering assets, spares & removal of obsolete parts
Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be Engineering Storesperson:
11. Must have experience of working in a similar stores environment
12. Worked with some form of CMMS
13. Highly organised, able to make improvements and self-audit
14. Experience of working within engineering, understand maintenance schedules
15. High attention to detail, able to make changes to SOP’s
16. Effective communicator and approachable person
17. Qualified in engineering
