Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to learn? A specialist secondary school in Farnham is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their welcoming team. The school works with secondary-aged pupils with emotional and attachment needs, providing a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where they can thrive.
We are keen to hear from experienced Learning Support Assistants, as well as people with relevant experience from childcare, care, youth work, mental health support, or other people-focused roles. You don’t need previous school experience – full support and training will be provided.
What the role involves:
* Supporting pupils in class and one-to-one, helping them engage with learning and routines
* Assisting with social and emotional development and building positive relationships
* Working closely with teachers and the wider team to implement individual support plans
* Helping to maintain a calm, safe, and supportive learning environment

Safeguarding:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
