Your strong IT skills and capacity to learn new systems quickly make you adept at handling modern committee management software. You excel at building constructive working relationships across different levels, and you can motivate and manage teams while navigating a politically sensitive environment. What the Job Involves Your main objectives are to lead, manage, and develop the Democratic Services team, provide expert governance advice, oversee the Council’s committees and the member induction process, and maintain the Council's constitution. Your duties will include providing leadership and advice on governance matters, ensuring meetings comply with statutory provisions, preparing for annual governance cycles, monitoring team performance, budget management, and supporting elections or emergencies. Additionally, you will assist the Corporate Head of Law and Governance and provide support for the office of the Mayor.
