As an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior, you will split your time between accounts and audit work, gaining exposure to a broad client base from ambitious owner-managed businesses through to groups turning over £50m.
This is not a narrow, repetitive role. It is a hands-on Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior position where you will build relationships, develop technically and take real ownership of your work - all within a firm recognised for high-quality training and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across varied sectors
Draft corporation tax and business tax computations
Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
Support and deliver audits from planning through to completion
Work closely with managers as part of an experienced audit team
The Ideal Candidate:
Practice experience across accounts preparation and audit assignments
Confident preparing statutory financial statements for owner-managed businesses
Comfortable communicating with clients face to face, by phone and email
Strong Excel and general IT skills
Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
Keen eye for detail and a solutions-focused mindset
What's on Offer:
£35,000 to £39,000
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Structured training with an ICAEW Authorised Training Employer and ACCA Approved Employer at Platinum level
