Role- Lead Architect
Rate- £70.00 p/h (Inside IR35 Umbrella)
Location- Cumbria
Job Type- 12 month contract
We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect to join our team, reporting directly to the CS&A Discipline Lead Engineer and the Site Engineering Manager. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to complex projects, ensuring high standards of architectural design, compliance, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and completion of Building Regulations Reportsand Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation
Management and response to all architectural Technical Queries, Product Permits, and Concessions (site and vendor)
Attendance at weekly client meetingsand participation in design reviews
Oversight and coordination of fire-related design issues and associated documentation
Management of room completions and handover to commissioning teams
Review, checking, and approval of architectural drawings and specifications
Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, fulfilling duties as a DesignerEssential Experience & Qualifications
Degree-qualified Architect (BA(Hons), DipArch, or BArch)
Registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB)and a member of RIBA
Demonstrated experience in a similar lead role
Strong communication, analytical, and team collaboration skills
Proactive and self-motivated approach to work
Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
Experience in specification writing using NBS
IOSH Working/Managing Safely (desirable; not essential at commencement)
Previous nuclear industry experience is advantageousTechnical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general digital tools relevant to architectural design and documentation
