Hours would ideally be from 12 pm to 8 pm Monday to Thursday, 12 pm to 7.30 pm Friday, with half an hour break during the shift, to allow completion of maintenance work outside school hours and overseeing school lettings. These hours may be slightly adjusted if required (i.e. if a letting finishes earlier or later than 8 pm). Subject to a successful probationary period, initially we can also offer a 3-bedroom site house for a nominal rent – the site house is to be reviewed in September 2026. Our site team works across 2 sites, Stour Valley Community School and Clare Community Primary School. They work hard to maintain the schools to a high standard and to respond to requests from teachers and support staff, supporting the delivery of the daily site team operations.
