Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary c.£28K – £30K DOE
On behalf of our client a multi-site care home group, McKinty Associates are seeking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. Working as part of our client’s established accounts team the post holder will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of this nursing home group.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Purchase Ledger including
2. Matching, batching and coding invoices
3. Check and reconcile supplier statements
4. File invoices and statements
5. Deal with purchase enquiries
6. Account maintenance
7. Other adhoc Purchase Ledger duties
Eligibility criteria:
8. Min 2+ years Purchase Ledger experience
9. Experience working as part of a busy finance team
10. Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages
11. High level of expertise in use of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word
12. Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload
13. Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines
14. Strong planning and organising skills
15. Good numeracy and time management skills
16. Keen eye for detail
The ideal individual will have current or previous experience within a similar role.
