We are looking for a high-performing Head of Sales. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
The Head of Sales is responsible for delivering and maximise revenue growth by managing the Sales Floor and achieving growth and sales targets by following a strategic sales plan that expands the customer portfolio in the Construction Sector.
The Head of Sales duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.
The successful candidate will undertake the following main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Developing the Sales Team including implementing training plans and managing quality of calls.
* Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base.
* Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the Sales team.
* Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Board of Directors.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
* Deliver high levels of customer service and ensure that all sales are completed with integrity.
* Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
* Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
* KPI setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
* Conduct monthly 1-2-1 meetings to engage, motivate and develop the Sales team.
* Liaise effectively with the Sales team to ensure clear communication.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures and lead by example to ensure they are fully implemented.

* Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
* Proven ability to position products against competitors.

* Experience of managing a team.

The ideal candidate may possess the following desirable Skills, Experience and Qualities:
* Knowledge of Training and Funding requirements.
* Knowledge of the Construction sector.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
* Educated to a minimum of A Level.
* Have a proven successful background in managing a sales team.
