We are looking for a female support worker to join a well-established team who work with Ms P in her home in Taverham, Norwich. Hours average at 34 per week, with opportunity for overtime.
We also welcome applicants who are interested in a relief role within the team.
Ms P is a 37-year-old lady who has a brain injury. She is a full- time wheelchair user requiring help with personal care including washing, dressing, going to the toilet and managing her catheter. She lives with her partner in her own home, a purposefully adapted bungalow.
Ms P requires support to access the local community, she enjoys going to the local garden centre and coffee shops. She attends the local gym for personal training sessions and swimming pool weekly.
Equally Ms P enjoys spending time at home, she enjoys art and crafts, jigsaw puzzles and baking. She has a weekly physiotherapy session and uses an adapted exercise bike and walks around the house with her walking aid most days. She requires support with her mood and motivation to engage in activities.
We have a vacancy for 34 hours per week, shifts are a mixture of days and waking nights.

Applicants must hold a full driving licence and be available to work both day and night shifts Monday to Sunday as part of the team rota.
The ideal candidate will be confident, resilient, have good communication skills and be compassionate and caring. Experience of working with individuals with brain injury and physical disabilities would be preferred.
