Overview
Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry (Community East & West) at Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time post (10 PA) providing medical input into West and East CTT Cumbria. Includes involvement in Hope Haven project and Pears Cumbria School of Medicine initiative.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the engagement, assessment, diagnosis and formulation of patients referred to the CTT.
* Support the medical workforce on the west CTT
* Be committed to delivering excellence in clinical care
* Work effectively with the multidisciplinary community team and in-patient teams.
* Promote the safety and well-being of the patients we serve.
* To respect the rights and the dignity of patients.
* To consider the individual and cultural needs of patients
* To work with families and carers in the best interest of the patient (in line with the Trust Carers’ Charter).
