Newton Colmore is working with a research company in Cambridge, and we are searching for an electronics and firmware engineer to join their team.
This company works on highly complex research programmes, developing devices and applications for the defence and security industries. They are now looking for an engineer to join the team and take lead on electronics and firmware-focused research. You will be working alongside physicists, mechanical engineers and fellow electronics engineers in world-class labs and workspaces in Cambridge.
Responsibilities
- Take lead on electronics and firmware-focused research.
- Collaborate with physicists, mechanical engineers and fellow electronics engineers in world-class labs and workspaces in Cambridge.
- Work on highly complex research programmes, developing devices and applications for the defence and security industries.
Qualifications
- Strong academics and prior experience developing electronics and firmware solutions for complex devices.
- Ability to attain security clearance for highly confidential and top-secret work.
- Prior experience with complex devices and firmware is expected.
- Role is open to experience level; skills are prioritized over years of experience.
