About the Role
We are looking to recruit a friendly, motivated and professional senior customer care administrator to join our team.

Job Overview
The successful candidate will provide a high level of customer service to patients of NPC practices. The role supports GP teams and other clinical staff, ensuring efficient and accurate administration within the practice.
Responsibilities
* Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct the public as appropriate.
* Provide general admin and secretarial support to practice staff.
* Ensure timely appointments for patients attending the GP service, triaging according to urgency.
* Process patient referrals and support clinical coding of patient records.
* Ensure all Emergency Care documentation is coded and filed correctly, and copies are sent to relevant health care professionals.
* Receive confidential information by telephone or face‑to‑face and input it accurately into patient service systems.
* Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive primary care medicine management system.
* Undertake practice‑level activities that contribute to efficient and effective delivery of medicines.
* Provide high‑standard customer care to patients, relatives and visitors.
* Ensure all patient documentation is coded, filed, and updated on SystmOne in a timely manner.
* Provide support and advice to new and existing staff on SystmOne.
* Manage correspondence, take minutes of meetings, perform secretarial duties, and process patient referrals.
* Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
* Play a patient‑facing role to identify and work with frail and elderly patients and those with long‑term conditions, coordinating care and supporting pharmacy services.
* Assist in preparing information for the Pharmacy team to complete medication reviews.
* Contribute to audit cycles for QOF, CQC, and Quality Improvement initiatives.
* Manage shared care agreements and support income generation.
* Carry out clerical duties required by the role.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be able to prioritise workload without supervision, possess strong organisational and IT skills, and provide secretarial support to GP teams and clinicians. Full training will be provided on the use of SystmOne.
