Construction Manager - Nuclear Contract | £65-£75 per hour | Outside IR35 | 6 Months (Initial) | On-site - AWE, near Reading We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in utilities and civil engineering projects to join a high-profile contract at AWE. This role is client-side, supporting utility infrastructure upgrade projects throughout their lifecycle. You'll play a key part in developing construction methodology, integrating construction schedules, and coordinating supply chain and stakeholder activities to ensure safe and successful delivery. Key Responsibilities Champion and drive a strong safety-first culture on site. Manage and coordinate supply chain contractors. Work closely with client, designers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure programme adherence. Prepare pre-construction information and sub-contractor scopes. Support construction sequencing with suppliers and oversee coordination of activities on site. Manage project interfaces with wider construction delivery teams and other client operations. Ensure delivery is safe, compliant, and right first time. About You Significant experience delivering civil engineering projects in regulated environments.
