Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Guidance & Advisory
1. Provide clear, proportionate guidance on:
2. UK Data Protection Regulations
3. Outsourcing and third ‑ party risk management (PRA/FCA requirements)
4. Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SM&CR)
5. Advise staff and senior management on relevant UK regulatory obligations.
6. Review internal frameworks in the above areas and rmend enhancements.
pliance Monitoring & Reporting
7. Support and undertake pliance monitoring activities across various risk areas, including conduct risk, operational resilience, depositor protection, and treating customers fairly.
8. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the annualpliance monitoring plan.
9. Produce reports on monitoring oues and assist in preparing reports for senior management.
Policy, Projects &ernance
10. Assist business units with implementing changes to internal policies resulting from regulatory developments.
11. Monitor progress against implementation plans.
12. Provide support onpliance ‑ related projects and regulatory initiatives.
13. Where required, act as secretary for internalpliancemittees or similarernance forums.
General Support
14. Support the Head of pliance in day ‑ to ‑ day departmental activity and ad ‑ hoc tasks.
15. Maintain strong technical and soft skills to effectively perform the role.
About You
Essential Experience
16. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a regulatorypliance role within a small or medium ‑ sized banking environment.
17. Strong understanding of:
18. Data Protection requirements
19. PRA/FCA Outsourcing and third ‑ party risk management
20. Risk management frameworks
21. Confident presenting in both written and verbal formats.
22. Experience supporting or leading project-based work.
23. Ability to help shape proportionate systems and controls to meet regulatory requirements.
24. Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce high ‑ quality written reports.
25. A proactive, hands ‑ on approach with strong initiative.
