This is a brilliant opportunity for a teacher who is seeking a flexible role, with the ability to focus on delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons without the demands of a full-time timetable. Whether you're an experienced teacher or a recently qualified ECT, we would love to hear from you!
The Role:
* Teaching Mathematics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils
* Working 2 to 3 days per week (days negotiable to suit your availability)
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
* Collaborating with the Maths department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* A degree in Mathematics or a related field
* Recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
* Strong classroom management skills and a passion for engaging learners
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
* Two professional references covering your most recent teaching roles
