A fantastic opportunity in the buying team to join the dynamic lingerie and nightwear brand Boux Avenue, as a Buyers Admin Assistant. This position is your first step on the Buying ladder. As a member of the Buying team you will be a candidate who is able to demonstrate commercial awareness, creativity and a real passion for product and a good team player
As a Buyers Admin Assistant you will:
1. Ad hoc duties are also an essential daily part of the Buyers Admin Assistant job role as you are providing full administrative support to the buying team.
2. Raising accurate orders on the Department. Amending PO's where necessary with any date/price changes etc.
3. Complete all label data accurately. Ensure all packaging requirements are met.
4. Ensure excellent communication with suppliers and work alongside the team to manage the critical path, an instrumental tool of the department. Highlight any delivery concerns to the team.
5. Managing gold seal approval and updating relevant team members.
6. Chasing in buy and photo samples for photo shoots and meetings. Preparing samples for department meetings when necessary.
7. Responsible for sample management - keeping the sample rail in good order and up to date. Show new samples that have arrived in the office to relevant team members
8. Office duties; filing, post, organising parcels.
9. Pull-out and label samples for a trade meeting every Monday.
10. Organising samples for a weekly fit meeting in conjunction with the garment technical.
11. Prepare and maintain all department documentation e.g photoshoot document and fit list. Complete quarterly lookbooks and monthly store guidelines.
12. Ensure all ecom imagery is correct and highlight any concerns to the ecom team.
13. Complete lab dip approvals with the help of the team.
14. Liase with other buying teams and departments to ensure full co-operation and clear communication is maintained.
15. Carry out regular comp shops.
