A great opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll Assistant/Administrator on a Part time basis for c 20 hours per week to join an established firm within a friendly and busy payroll team based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The role is available either to work over 3 or 5 days - the choice is yours!
This position is working within an small established payroll team running full end to end payrolls. Experience of running solid end to end payroll processing within a similar payroll position processing multiple payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/four weekly/monthly basis is required.
Role Responsibilities
* Work as part of a small team ensuring timely and accurate processing of payrolls via SAGE 50
* Calculation and processing of variable overtime hours
* Processing statutory payments, maternity/paternity
* Processing of weekly/monthly auto enrolment pension payments to various pension providers
* Dealing with payroll queries
* Supporting team members as necessary with payroll processing
* Process PAYE, NI and RTI submissions, liaison with HMRC
* Process starters/leavers P45/P46
Person Specification
* Ideally knowledge of SAGE payroll software (training can be provided)
* Experience within a similar full end to end inhouse payroll or payroll bureau role.
* Excellent organisation skills able to time manage and prioritise
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Salary & Benefits
