Phorest powers 11,000 hair and beauty salons using our software across the globe. Our aim is to capture 25% of the market globally – that’s one million salons and a billion-dollar company.

We are growing and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster.


The Opportunity

Phorest Salon Software is seeking a creative and results-driven Interim Social Media Manager to lead our global social media presence while our current manager is on maternity leave.

This is a unique opportunity to oversee Phorest’s organic social strategy across multiple platforms, manage and work alongside a talented team, and collaborate across internal teams to elevate our brand voice. If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, creativity, and connecting with audiences, we want to hear from you!

Reporting directly to the Head of Brand & Communications, this role involves leading the development and execution of campaigns (both regional & global), managing content creation and approvals, and ensuring our social channels align with Phorest’s goals and values.

This role requires collaboration across all departments and functions throughout Phorest. This role would require adhoc travel to the Dublin office.

* Creativity Meets Strategy: You’ll have the autonomy to test new ideas and trends while aligning with business goals.


What You'll Do

* Lead the development and execution of organic global social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

* Owning our employer brand on Linkedin.

* Oversee day-to-day handling of organic social media channels (Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram), ensuring content is adapted to each platform, is aligned with Phorest’s goals and reflects Phorest’s values.

* Educate staff on the effective use of social media and promote its use within Phorest.

* Work closely with the demand generation team to provide creative assets for paid social media campaigns.

* Monitor our social media reports, turning insights into actionable recommendations to improve performance.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and create campaigns to support them in achieving their goals.

* Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote Phorest.

* Being an awesome, creative, reliable, professional, positive, intelligent, and fun team member.


Who You Are

* Social Media Expert: Passion for creativity and innovation in social media content. Alongside a minimum of 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, with proven success in audience growth, engagement, and campaign performance.

* People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.

* Content Creation Skills: Strong proficiency in Canva (essential) and a good eye for visuals. Must be confident in creating and editing content, including TikTok videos.

* Copywriting Excellence: Strong copywriting and editing skills tailored for each platform.

* On-Camera Confidence: Comfortable filming yourself for social content.

* Reporting Knowledge: Experience using analytics tools to track and report on the success of campaigns.

* Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities across multiple regions.

* Creativity & Innovation: A passion for creativity, storytelling, and leveraging trends to create impactful social media campaigns.

* Community Engagement: Experience in online community management with a balance of fostering meaningful connections and driving leads.

* Leadership Qualities: Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and collaborate across teams.

* Flexibility & Collaboration: A team player with excellent communication skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
