As a Commercial and Project Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role supporting our Commercial team from the early stages of pre-construction right through to project handover. You’ll be at the heart of supplier engagement and performance monitoring, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure our projects run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will drive successful project delivery, help manage commercial outcomes, and maintain our reputation for excellence and integrity.
Your Responsibilities
* Coordinate procurement activities and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
* Support the bid and tender process, ensuring our submissions maximise commercial advantage.
* Monitor supply chain performance, analyse trends, and provide market intelligence to inform decision-making.
* Prepare and present reports for Management and Project Manager meetings, compiling key departmental data and insights.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, contracts, and health and safety procedures.
* Champion company values at industry events and help strengthen our profile within the sector.
* Carry out ad hoc administrative duties and provide essential support to the Senior Management Team.
About You
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant degree or CIPS qualification.
* Valuable experience in procurement or a supply chain environment.
* Strong planning, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Excellent IT proficiency, with experience using procurement software.
* Attention to detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines under pressure.
* Team-oriented with a creative and solution-focused mindset.
Desirable (But Not Essential):
* Health and Safety or industry-specific training.
* Driving licence for travel between office and project sites.
* Experience representing companies at networking or trade events.
* Knowledge of construction or engineering products and practices.
