Our client, a reputable company specialising in infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Planner to join their team. This permanent role is based near Northampton, working on HS2.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Planning function to prioritise and coordinate construction and design activities
* Maintain delivery of the main Civils Works contract
* Build, optimise, and update project plans during project execution
* Assist on all scheduling related matters internally and externally with the client
* Undertake all planning activities and work to improve and optimise Construction Project Plans
* Collaborate closely with the area lead and subcontractors
Job Requirements
* Experience using Primavera P6
* Experience in a similar position within a construction environment
* Demonstrable experience and knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques
* Understanding of NEC3 contracts
* Excellent Excel skills
* Knowledge of the O365 package
* Recognised professional membership (e.g., ICE, APM, PMP)
* Hold a Full Driving License and have access to a vehicle
