Café/Deli Manager
Monday to Sunday operation (5 out 7 days) - 48 hours per week
£45,000 per annum + tips

We are recruiting for a Cafe/Deli Manager based in the heart of the West End. They are a vibrant and community-focused café/deli, known for their fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, excellent coffee, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. As they continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Café/Deli Manager to lead the team and take our service to the next level.
The Role:
As our Café/Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the café, managing a small team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in food safety and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent customer experiences
* Manage staff rotas, recruitment, and training
* Monitor inventory and order supplies efficiently
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
* Collaborate with the kitchen and deli team to update menus and product offerings
* Drive sales and implement marketing ideas to grow the business
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a similar managerial role (café, deli, or hospitality)
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure
* A genuine passion for food, coffee, and customer experience
* Barista experience
