Forest Green Rovers are excited to be recruiting a Women’s First Team Head Coach on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will contribute to the strategic preparation of the Women’s First Team and the long-term development of players within the Forest Green Rovers Female Programme. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Planning and conducting two technical and tactical training sessions, as well as fixtures, with support from the First Team Manager and support coach.
2. Devising game plans through analysis and on-pitch delivery.
3. Creating development plans for all First Team players to enhance their skills.
4. Fostering a positive team culture based on daily behaviors and principles of play.
5. Leading team and squad selection for First Team fixtures.
6. Recruiting new players via open sessions and utilizing a network of contacts.
7. Providing pathways for young players to progress to the First Team.
8. Monitoring young players in the ETC to identify future First Team players.
9. Ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented, in conjunction with the Designated Safeguarding Officer.

1. UEFA B Licence
2. EFAiF certification
3. Enhanced DBS clearance
4. FA Safeguarding Certificate
