Client: NHS Ayrshire & Arran
Role: Locum Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Rates: £100 - £125 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts: Ideally 3-4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and/or Fridays)
Location: Ailsa Hospital, Ayr
Responsibilities
* Inpatient and community role based in South Ayrshire/Ailsa Hospital
* No on‑call requirements
* Ward review twice a week
* 2 Operational Planning Calls (OPCs) per week
* Potential extension after the 3 months
Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree
* MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent
* Full GMC registration with entry on Specialist Registration for Psychiatry
* S22 Approval status in place
* S12 Approval status in place
* Approved Clinician (AC)
* Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check, or willingness to undertake one
* UK Right to Work
