We have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Manager to lead Financial Planning & Analysis activities across Abbott Diabetes Care UK & Ireland. This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance leadership to drive forecast accuracy, robust planning, and insightful performance reporting.
You will play a pivotal role in leading the IBP and LBE forecasting processes, supporting strategic decision‑making and ensuring strong financial governance across the business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Own and coordinate forecast accuracy goals and targets across ADC UK & Ireland
2. Lead all FP&A activities for UK & Ireland, including LBE submissions, Ireland financial management, daily sales reporting, and hospital business planning and reporting
3. Lead the UK & Ireland IBP forecasting process, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Area Demand Management
4. Ensure forecasts reflect new product introductions and current supply constraints
Financial Management & Reporting
5. Manage and submit locally agreed sales data and EMEA minutes into Dodeca, ensuring accurate tie‑out of sales and margin impacts
6. Manage and control department expenses, ensuring month‑end close and accounting entries are accurate
7. Own and accurately forecast UK & Ireland balance sheet and cashflow
8. Lead local daily sales reporting, providing insights on monthly performance and communicating regularly with Commercial Management
9. Coordinate with the Financial Controller to deliver weekly EMEA updates
Education & Qualifications
10. Degree qualified (or degree calibre)
11. Professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
Skills & Experience
12. Strong experience using MS Office, particularly Excel
13. Proven ability to analyse, interpret and present complex financial data
14. High level of numeracy with strong attention to detail
15. Excellent organisational and delegation skills, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
16. Confident communicator with the ability to influence cross‑functionally
17. Calm and resilient under pressure, able to manage tight deadlines
18. Patient and supportive leader, with a passion for coaching and developing others
