The Year 5 Teacher role is to start Tue 02/09/25- Fri 19/12/25.This role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. There are 28 children in the class and there is one full-time TA working on a one to one basis with an SEND child. The school would like someone who has previous KS2 teaching experience and someone who has good behaviour management skills.

Your role & responsibilities:
* Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
* Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
* Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons
* You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
* Hold QTS
* Knowledge of the national curriculum
* Be passionate and understanding
* Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
* Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
