A Vision for Languages at Newent
This is a pivotal role. We are committed to:
* Growing French at both GCSE and A-Level, ensuring students experience high-quality teaching that builds confidence, fluency and cultural understanding.
* Developing an additional language (such as Spanish) as an additional curriculum pathway, expanding choice and opening new opportunities for our learners.
We want an MFL leader who can shape a clear vision, drive up standards, and build a team where excellent practice is modelled, shared and continually refined.
The successful candidate will be line managed by the Assistant Headteacher responsible for Teaching and Learning, providing excellent access to the Senior Leadership Team. You will play a key role in the school's ongoing improvement journey. As the school enters its next phase of development, we are looking for middle leaders who are ambitious, forward-thinking, and who ultimately aspire to progress into senior leadership.
