This includes assisting me with household organisation and decluttering at a pace that feels manageable and respectful. Building trust and working together to develop positive, sustainable routines is an important part of this role. Your support will help me feel more in control of my home, reduce stress, and allow me more time to enjoy other activities. You may also support me in the community, helping me access social groups, activities, and local events to improve my confidence and wellbeing. What I’m looking for: • A kind, patient, and non-judgemental individual • Someone who understands the importance of working at a comfortable pace • Ability to encourage and motivate in a gentle, supportive way • Reliable and trustworthy • A driver with access to a car • Willing to support both at home and in the community Experience with hoarding behaviours or similar support needs would be beneficial, but not essential—empathy and understanding are most important. You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences. You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
