Overview
Airspace is searching for an Operations Specialist II to oversee new orders containing critically time-sensitive commodities, keep customers informed on any deviations, and track order status from initiation to delivery.
Responsibilities
* Perform all responsibilities outlined in the Operations Specialist II Job Description.
* Advanced Problem Solving
o Independently resolve all escalated issues using provided resources with minimal assistance.
o Assist in resolving team member escalations and questions.
o Understand Margin vs Total Cost for an order and apply knowledge to additional charge approvals.
o Expert on all International regulations, Import, and Export requirements.
o Understand big-picture decisions for customers, balancing service with customer margins.
o Balance speed, cost, and customer impact without defaulting to escalations.
o IE. Choosing one airline because we have a service agreement for faster offloads and minimal service failures over the fastest or cheapest option based on error rate.
o Balance cost of service quality and expectations with margin.
o Maintain minimal errors & service failures.
o Make educated decisions under pressure.
o Anticipate problems before they surface and act early.
* Operating the Airspace Platform
o Hold and maintain Dangerous Goods Certification, remain knowledgeable on all Dangerous Goods requirements and adhere to current policy procedures.
o Assist in resolving team member inquiries for DG flagged orders.
o Gain knowledge of additional sector processes.
o Provide SOP guidance hand in hand with leadership.
o Uphold team expectations by leading through example.
* Maintaining Balanced Level of Performance
o As an OSIII, meet minimum metric requirements and customer service standards; expectations will increase with each advancement.
Compensation
£50,000 - £55,000 annual salary
