Robert Half are delighted to be supporting an established business in Bristol on the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a full-time and permanent basis.
Our client adopts a hybrid working model, with plenty of free parking available. This is a 37.5 hour working week, wit working hours of 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will be minimum AAT qualified with a desire to complete CIMA/ACCA, and motivated to progress into a Management Accountant position.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include but not be limited to:
* Assist with purchase and sales ledger activities, bank payments, fuel reporting, and expense/credit card processing.
* Support with the preparation of management accounts, technical account analysis, and statutory returns.
* Contribute to the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
* Assist with general ledger reconciliations, fixed asset register management, and preparation for statutory audits.
* Partner with departments to analyse performance and provide financial insights to support decision making.
Your Profile:
* Minimum AAT qualified, with an aspiration to study for CIMA/ACCA.
* Previous exposure to month end and management accounting processes.
* Ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
* Experience working with SAGE is highly desirable.
* Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a strong communicator.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £33-38k plus benefits including study support, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, discretionary bonus, and more.
