Senior Pre‑Construction Manager – CAT A & CAT B Fit‑Out
My client seeking an experienced senior pre‑construction professional to lead CAT A and CAT B commercial fit‑out bids from initial enquiry through to contract award under JCT Design & Build 2024. This role is central to shaping winning strategies, coordinating multidisciplinary inputs, and ensuring a seamless transition into delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end pre‑construction and bid management for projects ranging from £500k to £10m+
Coordinate estimating, MEP, design, procurement, and external consultant teams to produce robust, competitive submissions
Identify and manage project risks, drive value‑engineering solutions, and prepare high‑quality client‑facing presentations
Oversee the handover process to delivery teams, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and continuity
About You
7–10+ years' experience in commercial fit‑out or interiors, ideally within a main contractor environment
Strong understanding of CAT A & CAT B methodology, MEP interfaces, and JCT Design & Build contracts
Proven track record delivering or managing pre‑construction on CAT A & CAT B schemes
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence presenting to clients and consultants
