As an Administrator at Specsavers, you'll be organised and equipped to tackle a wide variety of tasks. This includes all aspects of hearcare administration such as triaging patients, answering calls and general queries, updating and filing records, managing appointments, banking, through to repairs to hearing aids, and other key operational duties. The aim is to provide a top‑notch administrative service that supports the store's overall success.
Our store
The position will be based across both our Folkestone and West Park Farm stores.
The Specsavers Folkestone store, located in the Bouverie Place Shopping Centre, is a busy, community‑focused optical and hearing hub known for its professional, friendly service and strong reputation for customer care. It benefits from excellent public transport links, with several nearby bus stops and is within walking distance of Folkestone Central Train Station and Folkestone West Station, providing strong connectivity for those commuting from surrounding areas. Additionally, parking is available in nearby car parks, offering practical access for drivers visiting the Bouverie Place Shopping Centre.
The West Park Farm store is conveniently located within the Sainsbury's Park Farm Retail Park on Park Farm Road. The store is easily accessible by car and offers free parking for staff members, and well‑served by nearby bus stops such as Sainsbury's and Folkestone Academy, making it a practical and well‑connected destination for customers.

What we're looking for?
* Excellent administration and organisational skills
* Outstanding customer service approach, able to provide support and reassurance to customers via email and on the phone
* Team player with a positive can-do attitude
* High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relationships with a wide range of people
* Previous experience of working within an audiology/optics environment desireable but not required
