TPF Recruitment are supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their experienced team across a general accounts and tax position. As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will report directly into the Directors and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to billionaires. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. You will be responsible for: Prepare annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership and personal tax returns. Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns. Managing your client portfolio and client relations. Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers. Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required. Requirements You will be a qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice. You will have worked as a Senior Accountant within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT.
