Health and Social Care Lecturer – Level 3 BTEC & T LevelLocation: KingstonStart Date: March (Ongoing)Pay Rate: £25.51 – £35.00 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella)Working Day: WednesdayHours: 9:00–11:00 | 11:00–13:00 | 13:30–15:30

Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching within a further education setting in Kingston. This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced lecturer or health and social care professional with strong knowledge of Level 3 BTEC and T Level Health qualifications.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in post-16 education, vocational teaching, or industry experience within health and social care who are passionate about supporting learner achievement and progression.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across Level 3 BTEC Health and Social Care and T Level Health programmes. You will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the ongoing development of the health and social care curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality teaching to learners aged 16+ across Level 3 BTEC and T Level Health programmes.
* Plan and prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment materials in line with awarding body requirements.
* Assess and internally verify learner work accurately against qualification criteria.
* Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student achievement and progression.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, attainment and assessment data.
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and promote inclusive practice.
* Support the development of employability skills and professional behaviours relevant to the health and social care sector.
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of Health and Social Care programmes.
* Engage with employers to ensure curriculum delivery reflects current industry standards and workforce expectations.

Candidate Requirements

* Degree (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work or a closely related subject.
* Recognised post-16 teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training) or willingness to work towards one.
* Experience delivering Level 3 BTEC Health and Social Care and/or T Level Health qualifications.
* Strong understanding of assessment processes and awarding body standards.
* Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
