Overview
Join to apply for the Multimedia Executive role at Bedfont Scientific Ltd. Location: Harrietsham, UK-based with hybrid working. Hybrid working is a benefit and not a contractual term. Applicants must be UK-based and live within a practical commutable distance of our office.

Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 DOE

Responsibilities
* Web and video production support for our digital channels, including routine website updates, content publishing, and monitoring site performance.
* Assist with basic analytics and reporting to inform strategy.
* Produce, shoot, and edit original video content; edit existing footage into finished assets for campaigns.
* Support social media channels and adapt content for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
* Collaborate with colleagues across teams to create assets and support campaigns.
* Asset management: maintain a clean library of raw footage, projects, and final assets for archival and future use.
* Graphic support: create and resize digital graphics and still assets using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
* Content production: support the full cycle of video creation from pre-production through delivery, including occasional on-location filming.
* Website content management: perform routine updates to the website(s), formatting and publishing new copy, images, and media files.
* Quality Assurance: test website functionality across browsers/devices and fix issues (including accessibility).
* Basic technical support: front-end edits and fixes using HTML and CSS for layout and styling adjustments.
* SEO & web performance: ensure content is optimised for speed and basic SEO best practices.
* Video editing & post-production: edit footage with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, including color correction and audio mixing.
* Content production lifecycle: assist with scripting/storyboarding and basic on-location shoots as needed.
* CMS usage: publish content using a major CMS (e.g., WordPress or similar).
* Analytics: use web analytics tools to monitor performance and report insights.
* Filming basics: knowledge of camera operation, sound, and lighting for small-scale shoots.
Qualifications
* A course in Digital Media, Web Design, Film/Video, Communications, or similar is desirable (e.g., HND, NVQ, college diploma, or degree).
* Self-taught, bootcamps, apprenticeships, and real-world experience are equally valued.
Portfolio
A showreel, portfolio, or links to work — short-form video edits, social clips, basic websites, or HTML/CSS snippets.
No formal portfolio? You may provide examples such as a Google Drive/Dropbox folder, GitHub link, TikTok/Instagram/Reels edits, a simple site, or before/after edits.

* Design/Graphics Tools: Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop for image and graphic manipulation.
* Proactive and self-motivated: a genuine self-starter who seeks out tasks, proposes solutions, and takes initiative.
* Organised and prioritised: excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Problem-solver: ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues on the website (HTML/CSS) before escalating.
* Collaborative team player: strong interpersonal skills to work with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Video software proficiency: hands-on experience with industry-standard non-linear editing software.
* CMS experience: practical experience with a major CMS (e.g., WordPress) for content publishing.
* Coding fundamentals: basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS for content formatting.
* Analytics knowledge: experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
* Filming experience: basic knowledge of camera operation, sound recording, and lighting for small-scale shoots.
