Job Opportunity: Senior Clinical Nurse Band
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Nurse to join our multidisciplinary Adult inpatient team at the Cavell Centre, Peterborough.
The post holder will assist the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Ward Manager in providing clinical leadership and serve as a clinical role model for the inpatient team.
Responsibilities include deputising for the Clinical Nurse Specialist/Ward Manager as needed, offering evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care for service users with mental and physical health needs, and collaborating to maintain clinical standards in line with local and national priorities.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will oversee assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within set parameters, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation. They will also identify training needs for junior staff and promote equality, diversity, and rights in practice.
Effective communication and responsibility within their scope are essential aspects of this role.
