T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a number of Factory Labourers to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

The role will be starting on a day shift and moving onto a rotating shift pattern once fully trained.
Factory Labourer Job Details & Benefits;
MondayThursday 6:0015:30 & Fridays 6:0010:00 (with Friday overtime mandatory when required)
Starting hourly rate of £13.50 with the opportunity to rise to £16 with training sign off
Weekly pay
Permanent role after 12 weeks
Additional training offered on forklift, loading shovel etc with the opportunity of progressing within the Company

As a Factory Labourer you could be working across a number of departments where duties vary dependant on the area, however, could include the following;
Cutting sheets of metal
Weighing and labelling products
Stacking products onto pallets manually
Performing machine checks
Quality checking the products
Forklift operation training is provided
Working outside on the yard loading scrap metal using JCB shovel
Using overhead crane
Working to and ensure targets/deadlines are met
Adhere to H&S within the workplace
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
Factory Labourer Person Specification;
No beards (due to half-face mask use)
Blood test is required quarterly due to the nature of products handles
Must be physically fit due to lifting and moving the product
Happy to stand for the duration of your shift & complete repetitive duties
A valid FLT licence is desirable however not essential as training is available if interested
