My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in our training programme who will soon be hitting the roads.
Due to record numbers of learner drivers needing instruction—caused by test centre backlogs due to COVID—our driving instructors have seen their hourly rates increase by an average of £3 over the past 12 months. Additionally, over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. Now is the perfect time to become a driving instructor!
Is becoming a Driving Instructor the right career for you?
Do you have good customer service skills? If so, anyone can become a driving instructor. Recently, we have recruited individuals from various industries:
* Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
* IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, web development)
* Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin officer, personal assistant, lecturer)
We provide full training, conducted as locally as possible. Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.
Requirements to become a Driving Instructor:
* Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
* Have not been banned from driving in the last 4 years
